Thomas Van Deursen

After a Master's degree with Great Distinction in cinematographic writing and analysis at the Université Libre de Bruxelles- ULB (Free University of Brussels), Thomas subsequently taught there as a course assistant for 3 years. He is currently doing research on his own funds (Memetics applied to the analysis of screen adaptations of Shakespeare's plays) in order to obtain a PhD. Recruited by La Monnaie as a french-speaking content creator and coordinator in 2018, he has been part of most of this prestigious institution's communication strategy. Fluent in French and English, he is co-director of a Brussel’s based theatre company (Les Alchimistes). He both directs and acts in plays twice a year.
